DREMMA A. CURBEAM, ESQ.

FOUNDER & MANAGING ATTORNEY

Attorney Dremma A. Curbeam is licensed to practice law in all Florida State Courts.


She was born and raised in Ocala, Florida but has made Tampa, Florida her permanent residence. She worked as an Associate Manager for BBVA Compass bank for four years. As a manager, she performed several duties including: compliance and regulations internal auditor, supply chain management, and accounting. 


She was the 'lead" domestic violence attorney for Community Law Program in St. Petersburg, FL for over two years. While employed with Community Law Program, she has successfully litigated and helped over 40 survivors obtain a final injunction of protection. She also helped tenants who were facing eviction negotiate payment and avoid an eviction on their records. 


She has also worked for Children's Legal Services as a "Senior Attorney." She has litigated hundreds of cases to advocate efficiently and effectively advocate for the safety, well-being, and permanency of abused, abandoned, or neglected children by representing the State's interests in dependency court proceedings. 


Attorney Curbeam graduated from College of Central Florida with an Associates Degree in Political Science. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from University of South Florida  in Criminology. She also obtained her Masters in Science from Saint Leo University in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Legal Studies. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, concentrating on Family Law. While in law school, she did an internship with Thomas M. Cooley's Debt Relief Clinic which concentrates on Bankruptcy. During her three years of law school and immediately following graduation, she worked for Fulmer, LeRoy, & Albee as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal. She held various positions during her four years with the firm. She handled several areas of litigation including: drafting and responding to pleadings, discovery, mediation, and trial preparation.


Ms. Curbeam is a firm believer in work-life balance. In her spare time, she enjoys mentoring at-risk girls, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and relaxing on the beach.
